The Call of a Curate

St Timothy's Episcopal Church in Winston-Salem North Carolina is searching for a curate.

We are looking for a priest (or transitional deacon) who is formed or desirous to be formed in the catholic faith and practice as received by the Anglican Tradition. We are looking for a fellow pilgrim who seeks to grow in their faith and devotion to Our Lord, who will willingly join in our rhythm of prayer and sacrament, longing to say the Office in community and offer the Eucharist so that no day passes without a celebration. We are looking for a priest who understands the Benedictine model of ora et labora, and embodies a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial thinking. We are looking for a priest who is smart and can teach, but is also teachable and willing to learn more. We are looking for a priest to take seriously the cure of souls and expansion of Christ's Church. We are looking for a priest who takes their faith seriously but not themselves. We are looking for a priest who loves and laughs. We are looking for a priest who says their prayers and reads their Bible.

Join a vibrant parish with an average Sunday attendance of 315, a robust liturgical rhythm including the Daily Office and daily mass, The Abraham Project, a homeless shelter, an extraordinary lay professional staff (five full-time), and a serious entrepreneurial spirit rooted in abiding faith in the Lord Jesus. Our mission is adoration, formation, and transformation. Join us.

Send resumes to Father Steve Rice, Rector.
